The B-52 is a popular board in the NS range. It’s suits a range of surfing abilities being a good option for intermediate surfers looking for their first custom board as well as an equally fun board for good surfers in those smaller sized waves.   The B-52 has a slightly wider nose and a fuller template but is pulled in with double wings in the tail. It features a single to double concave with a medium to relaxed rocker line. The Slight vee off the tail makes it release well, and easier to turn in the waves. The board is shaped with a swallow tail. These features combined give all the benefits of a wider board but a sensitive tail that helps for performance.   The B-52 can be customised for all surfing conditions and is good as both a 5’6 or 7’6 board.
