The Scimitar Tip is represented by the cut-off portion of the fin, tailoring the grip characteristics. Vapor Core is the lightest performance fin construction ever, consisting of a hollow core. Every single fin is handmade from start to finish at Future’s HQ in Huntington Beach, CA, using aerospace grade materials. This fin set up delivers tight turns and holds speed very efficiently. This fin set is constructed from a unique carbon/honeycomb lay-up which makes them super-light, with a more flexible tip. This flex pattern really comes into it’s own in slightly weaker surf, creating speed as you push against your fins. Vapor Core construction is great in less powerful surf and would probably suit intermediate surfers who should steer clear of the very stiffest fins.
